Go Mola! its your birthday, I’m gonna party like it’s my birthday, of course it is my birthday… but seriously there is no party this year o. if anybody happens to surprise me, I’ll update you guys. On a brighter note, the outreach I talked about on my last post was a SUCCESS. Yaaaaaaaay!!! I was so happy, the turnout was great. It was a great opportunity to work on a community health project and to put my theoretical and professional knowledge into it. It was exhilarating and exhausting; in the sense that I had never organized a medical outreach before and I was just so excited to get the job done properly. It was also quite educative and above all, it was fun.
I had the best team on board; I worked with competent, reliable and self-motivated individuals. They made me feel I was on top of the world, completely committed to the goal they were. I’m so grateful for the type of family and friends God surrounded me with. I want to use this medium to express my profound gratitude to the volunteers and supporters from Budo specialist hospital Ajah, to Lasana waters (will do a medical review on it soon), image planet medical Diagnostic, Ajah and to everybody who donated towards the success of the event. God bless you. I’m so happy I was able to impact positively to the lives of others while adding another year on this planet.
In every successful event, there is always a “But”; everything can’t go that smoothly now. In this case it was the food! I still can’t come to grips with the fact that I had just one pack of rice. Like I was thinking my mum left some back home, only for me to get home to find out she took everything to the program …… I complained all through the night, my mummy had to ask hope there was nothing more to it. I believed I deserved three not one. Please I don’t play with my food and neither do I play with my gifts. Hope you have them readyyyyyyyy! Happy birthday to me once more. See you guys on Friday and if you haven’t subscribed yet click here to do so.
