Hello folks… I hope everybody is getting ready for the Christmas holiday? I am not feeling Christmas this year; the spirt is not yet upon me and ill probably be working throughout the festive period. I’ve been trying to look for activities or events to attend in Lagos, if you have any interesting one, please let me know. I’m staring a party guest series where I will be sharing my experiences at different parties I get to attend. Most importantly, I will be showing how I turned the aso ebi into my personal creative styles. I personally love this multi-coloured patterned Ankara and I’m in love with what I did with it.
Party guest series 1
This is the season of bright clothes; lots of red, yellow and green will be all over our faces soon. This post is about this beautiful Ankara dress I wore to a wedding ceremony some weeks back. It Aso Ebi has multi-coloured patterned print. I love the structure of this dress and how it suits my body.
I’ve seen a lot of errors when trying to mix multi-coloured patterned fabrics. One trick that works best for me is to go with the less visible colour. It was quite difficult trying to pick a colour that best suits the said fabric. Then I went with the magenta (purplish-pink) which is used for the pyramid-like net ruffles by the side, dear oh dear! It was just perfect.
I’m in love this particular piece designed by me. Enjoy the post and have a lovely weekend!!!
